welcome to davidwood.eu, the personal website of David Wood of Solihull, UK.  I am currently spending a year in Japan learning Japanese, teaching English and preparing for my PhD in Edinburgh.  Read my blog about it here.  I just finsihed working in the Statistics Dept. at Oxford on a summer project with StatAlign in the Genome Analysis Group.  My Masters project was done in the DNA Group in Oxford University Physics Dept. (see my project pages here: AutoRetrace) This site will continue to expand as my virtual home whilst development of a new project at fewtrem.com continues throughout 2011-2012.

I just finished studying Physics at St. Anne's College Oxford and have interests in current affairs, Europe, computing, electonic music and various sports.   If you've met me before then feel free to add me on facebook.  I have produced various websites that are linked to here including DH Airlines (a parody of a budget airline), rct·3·co·uk (a resource for the game RollerCoaster Tycoon) as well as several university organisations.   On this site there are also the projectile modeler and quiz maker that I made.
